ABOUT MARYBETH...

After a nursing career spanning more than 30 years and becoming certified as a clinical exercise physiologist, I founded Double Blaze Health to help people prevent chronic diseases, live better with existing health problems, and stay physically strong and independent as long as possible. I returned to school in 2016 to become an advanced practice nurse allowing for greater independence.

You can expect me to be warm, friendly, calm, and a good listener. I will take the time necessary to get to know you and understand your situation. My wide-ranging experience lends perspective, and allows me to see connections and find practical solutions to the issues you may be facing.

I understand that, for some, complex health problems can lead to fears of what may be further down the road. I can help you sort out and better understand your medical issues and how one problem may affect another, to help you better decide where to place your energy and priorities going forward. This can help you feel less stressed, be better prepared for your appointments, and be more confident when speaking with your doctors to make sure everyone keeps your goals, not theirs, in mind.

I offer advocacy and transitional care services as well as disease management and health and wellness counseling. I am passionate about helping my patients feel better, and live happy, healthy, productive lives. I hope to help identify barriers to success and empower you to make changes to achieve your personal health and wellness goals.
